Meowdrate

The short version: Meowdrate doesn't collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There's no account, no server, and no analytics. Everything the app remembers lives only on your device.
Meowdrate keeps all of its data locally on your device, using Android/iOS's standard local storage. This includes:
None of this ever leaves your device. There is no backend server, no account or sign-in, and nothing is synced or backed up by the app itself. If you uninstall the app or switch devices, this data is gone — that's an intentional tradeoff for keeping everything private and local.
If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications directly on your device (via the operating system's own notification scheduler). No notification content or scheduling data is sent anywhere outside your device.
If you add the optional home screen widget, it reads your locally stored hydration data to display it — this stays entirely on-device as well.
A few places in the app — the credits list and the support/donation link — open external websites (such as itch.io, Pixabay, or Ko-fi) in your device's browser. Those sites are outside our control and have their own privacy policies; this policy only covers Meowdrate itself.
None. The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no crash-reporting or tracking service of any kind.
Since the app collects no personal data from anyone, it doesn't knowingly collect any data from children either.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that does transmit data — this page will be updated and the date above will change accordingly.
